Invotec Group part of largest ever manufacturing trade delegation to India

Added 25/03/2013

Invotec Group MD, Tim Tatton, was one of over 100 selected representatives from UK industry, education and the arts to join David Cameron on a 3 day visit to India – the largest trade delegation ever undertaken by a British Prime Minister anywhere in the world.

To prepare for the visit, the UK Government worked with its Indian counterparts to produce a blueprint for future co-operation called UK India: A Natural Fit. Advanced manufacturing – the very essence of Invotec Group’s business – is identified in the report as one of the eight key sectors in which UK strengths match Indian requirements.

Delighted that Invotec should have been chosen to join the delegation, Tim Tatton commented: “This was a unique opportunity for us, as an SME, to meet with some of the largest aerospace and defence businesses in one of the world’s fastest-growing economies and to explore with them how we can deliver what they need. It’s an exciting insight into the potential for Invotec in this very important market.”

As David Cameron said to the delegates: “This week’s visit is vital, but our commitment is about more than a week. It is a week-in, week-out determination to help you secure more trade, more investment and more jobs – and with it, to make Britain and India one of the defining relationships of this century.”
