Invotec Group Wins Formal Approval from the European Space Agency

Added 20/01/2014

Invotec Group, Europe’s leading manufacturer of time critical, high technology PCBs, is delighted to announce that it has been formally awarded ESA approval – the first PCB supplier to achieve such approval in many years.

The company already has a rich space heritage, manufacturing HDI and HDI Flex-Rigid boards for a variety of ESA and non ESA space programmes to OEM specifications which, in many cases, go beyond the current ESA approvals.

Invotec’s Tamworth facility is the only ESA approved facility with a full in-house HDI capability and the company is looking forward to working with ESA to develop new standards for the use of HDI boards to complement existing OEM requirements.

Tim Tatton, Invotec Group’s Managing Director, commented:

“We are delighted to have won European Space Agency approval following an extremely rigorous & very challenging approval process.  It represents a formal acknowledgement of our technological and manufacturing capability as well as the strength of our commitment to ultra-high reliability. We are very much looking forward to contributing to future ESA projects and offering the Space Industry the technology, quality & service levels and financial strength, on which Invotec prides itself.”
